Driver
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport employees, supplies, and equipment to and from assigned destinations.
  • Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as company driving policies and safety procedures.
  • Plan and adjust routes based on traffic, weather, construction, or operational needs to ensure timely arrival.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of items.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting and reporting any mechanical issues, damage, or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and readiness for daily use.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams regarding schedules, pickups, and special assignments.
  • Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, destinations, and any incidents.
  • Communicate professionally with internal staff, external partners, and others as deemed necessary.
  • Assist with general operational tasks or other duties when not driving, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or ability to obtain after hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a driver, courier, or transportation support.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Exposure to varied weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) during loading, unloading, and travel.
  • Ability to safely lift and maneuver equipment or materials as needed.
  • Able to safely operate a pickup truck with a trailer attached, including towing and maneuvering boating equipment or related gear.
  • Able to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move equipment up to or in excess of 50 lbs.
Additional Information
  • This position requires supporting operational needs outside of standard business hours as needed, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts.
